Based in central Tenterden, The Social Hub is a registered not-for-profit charity. We provide a purposeful day for adults with both physical and/or learning disabilities, the elderly and those with the early stages of dementia living in the Tenterden and Ashford District. Our work contributes to their overall independence and wellbeing and provides a safe and caring environment. We also offer 'At=home' services too with meals-on-wheels and Helping Hands.

Helping Hands vacancies

Do you have a few hours to spare?

 

We are looking for kind, reliable and motivated people to help older adults living at home with domestic duties, shopping and occasional assistance to appointments. The role does not include personal care or medication. The majority of calls are based in Tenterden and surrounding villages and can be full or part time hours with a mileage allowance, so if you’re a cheerful and caring person who would like to make a difference to our client’s lives please call Emily for a chat to discuss further.
